Race to Sustainability Toolkit supports greener minifootball events
The Race to Sustainability Toolkit offers practical guidance for clubs, organisers and sport stakeholders interested in greener event practices.
The Race to Sustainability Toolkit is one of the key outputs of MASCOT and is designed to support greener sport events and clubs. For the EMF Champions League audience, the toolkit provides a practical entry point into sustainability, showing that environmental responsibility can be translated into clear and realistic actions.
The toolkit can support organisers, clubs and federations in areas such as event planning, stakeholder communication, awareness activities and the promotion of responsible behaviour. It is particularly useful for sport communities that want to move from general awareness to practical implementation.
MASCOT presents sustainability as something that can be adopted step by step. By sharing the toolkit through competition-related communication, EMF helps make these ideas available to clubs, managers, players and supporters who are already engaged with European minifootball.
The toolkit will remain available as a reusable project resource and can be adapted by national federations, clubs and event organisers beyond the lifetime of the project.
